Repository of surgical/biopsy tissues

Surgical and biopsy biological material has been collected since 2000. All techniques of biological material treatment, specimens storage and DNA extraction comply with standard protocols used by accredited laboratories.

Biological material of surgical and biopsy tissues include specimens of tumor and non-tumor tissues obtained immediately after surgery or biopsy and placed in liquid nitrogen. Soft tissues specimens are stored in freezers at –75°C to –80°C, as well as in form of paraffin blocks and slides.
